Conventional CT allows high-resolution images of the brain, spine, bones and abdomen. It is comparable to a three-dimensional X-Ray. Our CT is also capable of spiral CT imaging which allows thoracic (chest) and abdominal studies. This technology assists in the early detection and treatment of many diseases including cancer. CT imaging aids in a more precise preparation of surgical patients, allowing a more definitive surgery to be performed while preserving your pet’s quality of life. Anesthesia is required as the patient must remain completely still during the imaging process.
