Fluoroscopy
This is a technique that obtains “live” x-ray images of a patient on a TV monitor. Fluoroscopy is extensively used in many types of clinical cases, primarily gastrointestinal and respiratory. Evaluations of swallowing, coughing, and tracheal stent placement are the most common uses at AECC/VISC.
