- Decreased operative time over Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO)
- Decreased post-operative morbidity (resulting both from decreased soft tissue dissection and from a lesser osteotomy at the level of the tibial tuberosity as opposed to across the diaphysis)
- Titanium implants have a significantly higher strength to weight ratio than comparably sized stainless steel
