Dr. Pierre S. Bichsel is Brevard County’s only Board-Certified Neurologist. Dr. Bichsel is a graduate of the University of Berne (Switzerland) College of Veterinary Medicine. He obtained his ECVN board certification in 1989. With more than 20 years of practical experience, Dr. Bichsel has been a member of ASECB’s Specialty Care Team since 2010.
Comprehensive treatment plans in veterinary neurology could include performing one or more of the following diagnostics: physical examination, x-rays, advanced imaging (CT and MRI), spinal fluid tap, and/or myelogram (an x-ray with contrast material injected to outline the spinal cord).
